3. The personal data I process

I only process the personal data I need and only store these for a limited period of time. In case I transfer your data to third parties, I will conclude a processor’s agreement with them in which they guarantee your privacy.

If you fill out the contact form, I will not store your first name, e-mail address, telephone number and message on this website. Instead, I will have these data transferred to my secured G Suite mailbox via an SSL connection. This is necessary to communicate with you.

G Suite (Google) stores your data on servers in the EU and the US. Google secures your data. It is a member of the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework, which means it will respect your privacy.

Every year, I delete the contact form entries that are more than 3 years old, unless you have become a customer in the meantime. In that case, I will retain the data until 3 years after you indicate that you are no longer a customer.

3.2 Location (country)

3.2.1 Firewall

When visiting this website, the firewall will store your country on a cloud platform. This is done to secure your personal data, by preventive blocking of countries with a lot of hacking activity.

Your country is stored on servers in the US until the firewall is deactivated, so that your next visits to the website will be secure. Sucuri, the firewall operator, secures your data. It is a member of the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework, which means it will respect your privacy.

3.3 IP address

3.3.1 Firewall

When visiting this website, the firewall will store your IP address on a cloud platform. This is done to protect your personal data, by preventively blocking potential hackers based on their IP address.

Your IP address is stored on servers in the US until the firewall is deactivated, so that your next visits to the website will be secure. Sucuri, the firewall operator, secures your data. It is a member of the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework, which means it will respect your privacy.

3.3.2 Google Fonts

This site uses Google Fonts, stored on the Google servers to speed up the loading of this website. When visiting this website, your browser will connect to the Google servers and provide them with your IP address. That way, Google fonts will know if you already downloaded the specific font used by this website.

Your IP address will be stored for 1 day on servers in the US. Google, the Google Fonts provider, secures your data. It is a member of the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework, which means it will respect your privacy.

3.4 Other data (only for potential customers and customers)

If you request a quotation or become a customer, I will collect the data needed to make an offer, execute the contract and send you invoices. These data for example include your first name, last name, company address, telephone number, e-mail address and VAT number.

These data are safely stored on my computer and smartphone: in my address book, calendar and banking software, among other places. I will share these data with my accountant if required to do so by law.

4. Other data I process

4.1 Statistics (Google Analytics)

When you visit my website, I will store specific data in Google Analytics such as, for example, your browser type, operating system, assumed place of consultation, time and date of the consultation, which pages you visited, etc. These statistics are completely anonymous. I use these statistics to analyse visitors’ surfing behaviour and to optimise the website.

I concluded an editorial agreement with Google and make sure your data are not shared with anyone else.

This website is secured on 2 levels:

  • The firewall filters all traffic to this site and thus prevents malware and hacking. This is comparable to the virus scanner on your PC.
